Description
High-Performance DTH Hammer for Rock Drilling
DTH Hammer is designed for efficient down-the-hole drilling in rock formations where high impact energy, stable penetration and reliable drilling performance are required. The hammer works together with a matching DTH button bit to deliver repeated impact directly at the bottom of the borehole, helping achieve efficient penetration in rock formations.
Available in 90, 115, 140, 152 and 165 mm sizes, with different gauge and face button configurations to match drilling diameter and formation conditions. Custom button arrangements and configurations are available according to drilling requirements.

Efficient impact energy at the borehole bottom
Six design advantages behind the DTH Hammer.
01 / 06 Efficient Impact DrillingThe hammer delivers impact energy directly at the bottom of the borehole for efficient rock penetration. | 02 / 06 Stable Borehole PerformanceThe DTH drilling method helps maintain stable drilling direction and consistent borehole quality. | 03 / 06 Multiple Diameter OptionsAvailable in 90 mm, 115 mm, 140 mm, 152 mm and 165 mm sizes. |
04 / 06 Carbide Button ConfigurationDifferent gauge and face button layouts are available according to formation conditions. | 05 / 06 Heavy-Duty StructureDesigned for demanding water well, mining and engineering drilling environments. | 06 / 06 Custom SolutionsButton quantity, button diameter and drilling configuration can be customized. |
Used across water well, mining and quarry drilling
DTH hammers are widely used for water well drilling, geothermal drilling, mining drilling and quarry drilling. Other applications include blast hole drilling, foundation drilling, construction drilling and rock drilling projects.
01 Water Well DrillingEfficient penetration for water well projects in medium-hard to hard rock. | 02 Mining DrillingReliable impact drilling for mining and blast hole drilling operations. |
03 Quarry DrillingStable borehole performance for quarry and rock extraction projects. | 04 Geothermal DrillingEfficient penetration for geothermal borehole and energy projects. |
Suitable Rock FormationsDTH drilling systems are commonly used for medium-hard to hard rock drilling applications. Typical formations can include the following.
⚠️ Note: The final hammer and button bit configuration should be selected according to rock hardness, abrasiveness, borehole diameter and drilling equipment. |
Gauge-button and full-button configurations
The final selection depends on rock hardness, abrasiveness, borehole diameter and drilling speed requirement.
Gauge-Button Gauge-Button ConfigurationUses carbide buttons mainly around the outer gauge and selected face positions, suitable for projects requiring stable gauge protection and efficient rock breaking. | Full-Button Full-Button ConfigurationUses a denser carbide button layout across the bit face for stronger rock contact and increased cutting coverage. |
Five standard DTH hammer sizes
Each size is matched to a different borehole diameter range and drilling application.
90 mm DTH Hammer Compact configuration for smaller borehole drilling. | 115 mm DTH Hammer Suitable for general water well and engineering drilling. | 140 mm DTH Hammer Designed for medium-diameter rock drilling projects. |
152 mm DTH Hammer Suitable for larger borehole and water well applications. | 165 mm DTH Hammer Heavy-duty option for larger-diameter drilling projects. | Custom Sizes Other diameters available on request. |
Standard sizes and button configurations
Custom button quantity and diameter available according to drilling requirements.
